We continue north, enjoying the gradually warming weather. I actually changed into shorts at about noon today.
Motoring most of the time, we took a sailing break when a breeze freshened from the east. Otherwise calm conditions prevailed and the water was flat. It seems to take years to cross the mouth of the Potomac. Finally we draw close to Pax River, motor up St Johns Creek and settle into the same anchorage we had last week.
34.8 nautical miles today and 8 hours of travel. Home tomorrow, and we’ll be glad. Our lives to resume, but we’re looking forward to trips north on the bay this year. There’s a lot up there to see and enjoy.
