One of my dock neighbors just “gave” me a brand-new West Marine (Dual) AM/FM/CD (etc., etc.,) unit. It was an extra (don’t you wonder how one winds up with an “extra” radio like that?).  I’ll give him about half of what it’s really worth (he won’t take very much for it).  So the next part of the Operations Locker puzzle is solved:  what kind of radio, and how it will fit.  More on its installation in a later post.

And lest you think that I only do projects on my boat and never sail, I’ve included a few photos from a late afternoon sail earlier this week.
