VHF Extension Speaker – Finish and Installation

After a weekend out-of-town and a recovery day from travel yesterday, I returned to the speaker bracket to finish up and attach to the bulkhead.

As I look at the photos, I realize that this isn’t a very impressive project.  In fact, you have to look closely to see it at all, once installed.  But it will add to another step forward toward my goal of having everything stowed in common-sense places, off the settees, so that I don’t have to move anything to get to something else.  That actually counts for a lot!

Now I just have to figure out a common-sense way to stow the wire too.

The wires are just ugly. But here it is, out of the way, with its own stowage space.

One last photo.

Maybe put a couple of small knobs on the front to wrap the wire?

    • Yeah, that’s good an idea. Just wrap ’em back and forth to take up the slack… I’ll think it through and look at the space again. Thanks!
